The Haven Hostel has been a ten year dream in the making that has finally become a reality.

226 Ambrose was found during the hunt for the perfect Hostel Location over a one year span. A massive 8000 square foot building offering the premier communal experience in Thunder Bay’s downtown core. The hostel is Inspired by first hand hostel experiences in the United Kingdom and Central America, complete with the unique first ever POD style dormitories in Ontario! Our mandate is to take all that we know of our city, surrounding areas and wild travel experiences, and share them with our guests, and maybe even participate.
